Description:
1. DS3231 is a low-cost, high-precision I2C real-time clock (RTC), with integrated temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and crystal. The device includes a battery input, which can maintain accurate timing when disconnecting the main power supply.
2. RTC stores seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, dates, months and years. For months less than 31 days, the end of the month will be automatically adjusted, including leap year revisions.
3. The working format of the clock can be 24 hours or 12 hours with/AM/PM indication. Provides two settable calendar alarm clocks and a settable square wave output. Address and data are transmitted serially through I2C bidirectional bus.
4. The accuracy of this temperature sensor is ±3°C. On-chip control circuit can realize automatic power supply detection and manage power switch between main power supply and standby power supply (i.e. low voltage battery).
5. If the main power supply fails, the device can continue to provide accurate timing and temperature without affecting its performance. The on-chip reset function can be used to restart the system microprocessor when the main power supply is re-energized or the voltage value returns to the allowable range.
